Special Notes
This is a free service offered by Recology to residents of San Francisco only.
You can schedule collection for your bulky items by making an appointment using the Bulky Item Recycling Form or by phone.
San Francisco residents can call (415) 330-1300 to schedule an appointment.
Please be ready to list all of your items for collection. We will schedule your collection for the next available business day, Monday through Friday and review the guidelines with you.
For large items that don’t fit or belong in your Recology carts, like old furniture, appliances, or mattresses, schedule a curbside Bulky Item Recycling pickup. This program does not accept hazardous waste, construction, and demolition debris, or auto parts and tires.
